74-Year-Old Littleton Man Gored by Bull

Police responded to the Flame Livestock Market in Littleton, Massachusetts on Sunday afternoon because a 74-year-old man was gored by an out-of-control bull.

According to The Boston Globe, the man, identified as Ronald Pollock, was attempting to load the bull onto a truck when it turned and attacked him. He was taken to Emerson Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were forced to shoot and kill the bull after it charged them, CBS Boston reported. The report added that the bull weighed approximately 1,800 pounds.
