The Saugus Police Department is looking for information about a suspect who allegedly injured and robbed a 90-year-old man of his vehicle Tuesday morning.

The victim’s car, a 2001 brown Ford Focus, was recovered on Wednesday morning at the Melrose Department of Public Works Yard, but the alleged thief remains at large.

On Tuesday, officers responded to the Stop & Shop Supermarket on Main Street around 8 a.m. to find the victim, who has not been identified, bleeding on the sidewalk outside the store. The nature of the victim’s injuries was not specified, but police said he declined to be hospitalized and was instead brought to a relative’s house.
