This summer, they launched “The Fenway Collection,” a limited-edition selection of paints honoring the historic home of the Red Sox. It will feature colors iconic to Fenway Park, like “Green Monster,” “Boston Red,” “Baseline White,” and “Foul Pole Yellow.”

Ashley Kinder, a spokesperson for Benjamin Moore, told Boston.com that the paint company has never done anything like this before. Even though the brand is also the official paint of the Chicago Cubs, Kinder said redecorators in the Windy City aren’t being offered a similar collection.

A percentage of sales will also help refurbish little league ballparks in the Boston area. To kick off the donations, Bunker Hill Little League Field in West Roxbury was transformed overnight into a (much) smaller version of Fenway Park, complete with a miniature Green Monster. A second mini-Fenway field was sponsored by Benjamin Moore in conjunction with the Travis Roy Foundation, dedicated to spinal cord injury research, in Jericho, Vermont.

Kinder said the reception of “The Fenway Collection” has been positive. “A lot of people have wanted paint shipped to them outside of Boston. I just talked to someone in Pittsburgh, PA, who wanted some,” Kinder said.

The paint sells for $24.99 per quart and $54.99 per gallon. You can get your own can of “Boston Blue” from New England retailers till December 13 currently. But Rich Gaudino, Benjamin Moore’s Director of Sales in New England, says he hopes the contract for the paint line will be renewed.

Gaudino said a third potential little league park is being scouted in Massachusetts.

“The Red Sox are the only team with colors people have a desire to bring into their home,” Gaudino said. “They are among the most passionate fans in the world.”
