James Costello, who survived the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings, married Krista D’Agostino, one of his nurses at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, on Saturday.

Costello had to have multiple surgeries for burns and shrapnel injuries he incurred in the bombing. He then went to Spaulding for rehab, where he met D’Agostino.

“It was such a true representation of their character, their style, and their love,” Rachael Gross, the couple’s wedding planner, told The Boston Globe. “Everyone was soaring, soaring.”
