Proposed seat belt law doesn't click with cabbies

Cabdrivers and passengers have always been exempt from Massachusetts seat belt laws, but state Representative Ronald Mariano, Democrat of Quincy, has filed a bill to require both to wear them. A cabdriver would have to pay a $25 fine if pulled over and found not wearing one, and an additional $25 for any unbelted passenger. (Full article: 591 words)
