Violent wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour in Boston and higher elsewhere wreaked havoc in Massachusetts yesterday, resulting in at least one fatality and widespread structural damage, as trees, power lines, and telephone lines fell like domino pieces across the region, snarling traffic and creating chaos.
