Pay raises eyed for mayor, councilors
Panel recommends increase of 16.6%
An independent panel is recommending a 16.6 percent pay raise that would boost Mayor Thomas M. Menino's salary to $175,000 and the City Council members' to $87,500, a high-ranking city official who asked not to be named said yesterday. (Full article: 759 words)
