T to shut Davis Square station today

SOMERVILLE — The MBTA's Red Line Davis Square subway station will be closed today from the start of service until an electric and water-related problem is fixed, said spokesman Joe Pesaturo. Commuters will be bused between Porter and Davis Square stations in both directions, and trains originating at and bound for Alewife will pass through Davis Square without stopping.
