Lester Moore says, ''The reason why I left Palmer is I felt there wasn't any real friendliness or courtesy towards us and that we felt kind of lonely out there. . . That's why I didn't spend as long there. I think the first week or two I realized that I was already missing the people in Wisconsin. . . . Bosses and managers here say ''Hi" and stop by to see if there's any problems. The ones out there (in Massachusetts), the manager, I never even shook his hand and he never even welcomed to me his store or anything, it was kind of, really, cold shoulder. . . . Over the years, things have gotten crowded and more hectic and busier, and I'm more laid back -- I like sports . . . football, more Packers than Patriots. . . . People there are rude . . . people driving are inconsiderate, and even people won't hold a door open for you, and they won't really acknowledge you. I guess my expectations were too high. . . . Wisconsin people acknowledge you, and if they know you they'll say ''Hi," and they're more friendly. . . . I think this is where God wants us, even though we have family back there and we're on good terms, we can always go out there to visit." ![]()
