Smell prompts emergency stop at Logan

When the plane landed, paramedics from Logan and the Massachusetts State Police responded and treated those who felt ill, Massport spokeswoman Danny Levy said.
Three flight attendants were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and treated for nausea, Levy said.
The plane, United Airlines Flight 1025, was carrying 116 passengers and five crew members.
The cause of the incident was under investigation, but was not believed to be terrorism-related, Levy said.
It was the second diversion to Logan this month.
On Aug. 16, the pilot of a trans-Atlantic flight declared an emergency and landed at Logan after a 59-year-old Vermont woman's behavior made flight crew members nervous. That incident also turned out not to be terrorist-related, but authorities interrogated passengers, bomb-sniffing dogs checked all the luggage, and the woman was charged with interfering with a flight crew.
