Bishops push for a vote on gay marriage

The four Roman Catholic bishops of Massachusetts are encouraging the state’s 3 million Catholics to fight gay marriage by going to the State House Nov. 9 to encourage their legislators to vote on a same-sex marriage ban. In addition to the Catholic Church, many evangelical churches and black churches have rallied to overturn same-sex marriage.
