The letter that Army First Lieutenant Ryan Patrick Jones sent to a class at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School in Fitchburg this week put a brave face on his duty in Iraq. It was a sad foreshadowing of his fate, received Monday, two days before Jones died. (Full article: 640 words)
