Recent bird sightings as reported to the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Reports from South Beach and nearby North Monomoy Island in Chatham included one little blue heron, seven northern harriers, two American golden plovers, 25 whimbrel, 26 Hudsonian godwits, five marbled godwits, four western sandpipers, roughly 100 white-rumped sandpipers, one buff-breasted sandpiper, one little gull, two lesser black-backed gulls, 100 roseate ...
