FOXBOROUGH, Mass.—Two Rhode Island men have been arrested in connection with the killing of a man who was shot several times and left to die on a Foxborough street.

Norfolk District Attorney William Keating says 32-year-old Ariel Morales of Central Falls and 29-year-old Jose Perez of Pawtucket were arrested early Thursday on fugitive from justice warrants.

Keating says the two men could be returned to Massachusetts to face murder charges later in the week.

Morales and Perez are the second and third men arrested in the killing of Carlos Gomez, a 29-year-old Central Falls man whose body was found by a passing motorist in the early morning hours of October 15.

Twenty-four-year-old Luis Lopez was ordered held without bail after pleading not guilty at his arraignment last month in Wrentham District Court.
