BOSTON—A 15-year-old boy surrendered to police and was charged with murder following the New Year Day's stabbing death of a 19-year-old fellow Brockton resident.
Emmanuel Okoro is scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon in Brockton District Court for the fatal stabbing of Markeen Starks.
Brockton police responding to a 911 call found Starks lying in the street suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz did not indicate the motive and circumstances that led to the killing.
