Here are the 108 Boston city workers who made more money than Mayor Thomas Menino in 2007, according to city payroll records. Of the 108, 107 were police officers. The other was a firefighter.
In the chart below, "Quinn" refers to money received under the Quinn bill, a state provision that boosts the pay of police officers with advanced education. "Detail" refers to money earned because the state mandates that construction sites that affect traffic flow have a police officer present. "Other" includes injury and retroactive pay.
