Vinciulla received a cellphone call, transferred from the State Police, from four young boys who were cold and lost in a Bedford marsh in January. One of the boys had lost his shoes and was stuck in the mud. None was dressed appropriately for the weather. Vinciulla kept them on the phone, calming them and determining their location while concurrently directing rescuers to them.

Campbell received a call from a frantic woman whispering that someone had just broken into her house and that she was upstairs but her baby was downstairs. Campbell dispatched officers, who apprehended an armed suspect as he was attacking the woman in her bedroom.

Mondalto stayed on the line with a victim of domestic violence, obtaining crucial information while at the same time making conversation with the armed suspect assaulting her. The suspect was taken into custody after a brief confrontation with police. Because of Mondalto's quick thinking and sharp questioning, she was able to alert the officers to a potentially dangerous situation that could have jeopardized their safety.

Briody stayed on the line with a woman calling from her cellphone while being held hostage. He kept her calm and obtained crucial information that ultimately led to police locating her and apprehending the suspect holding her.

Berube received a cellphone call from a woman on the top floor of a parking garage in Pittsfield threatening to jump. He kept her on the phone, distracting her from the responding officers who eventually pulled her to safety.
