Army Private Sara Traskos, a combat medic, has deployed to Baghdad. She is the daughter of Andrew and Terri Traskos of Lynn and is a 2002 graduate of Lynn English High School.

Darron Henn, a 12-year veteran, has been activated for deployment overseas. He is the son of Jean Henn of Winthrop and a 1988 graduate of Hanover High School.
Promoted
Charles H. Hall (inset) has been promoted to master sergeant in the Army. He is the son of Charles R. and Sandra L. Hall of Attleboro. His wife, Irene, is the daughter of James W. Graham of Newington, N.H., and Anne Graham of Portsmouth, N.H. Hall is serving as a superintendent in the Department of Defense Pharmacoeconomic Center Headquarters, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio.

Airman Ryan C. Watson has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio. He is the son of Wendy Watson of Newington, N.H., and a 2005 graduate of Portsmouth High School.
Army Private Sammy M. Talic graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Talic is the son of Mo Talic of Burlington and brother of Danny Talic of Revere. He is a 2007 graduate of Revere High School.
Airman Michael P. McMorrow has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. He is the son of Michael and Nancy McMorrow of Belchertown and grandson of Patrick and Anette McMorrow of Saugus.
Army Private Brandon M. Joseph graduated from basic training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the brother of Danielle Joseph of Malden.
Airman Bradford M. Bianchi has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. He is the son of William Bianchi and Mary MacIntyre of Malden and a 2007 graduate of Malden High School.
Airman James A. Hill (inset) has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. He is the son of James and Helen Hill of Haverhill and a 2005 graduate of Whitter Regional High School.
Airman Christopher J. Gosselin has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. He is the son of John and Jill Gosselin of Hampton, N.H., and a 2002 graduate of Winnacunnet High School.
Army Specialist Tyler J. Dugal has graduated with honors from special forces candidate training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Dugal will next attend airborne school as part of his 20- to 25-month training program. He is the son of Donna Dugal of Newmarket, N.H., and a 2003 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
Army Private Derek M. Goveny graduated with honors from basic training at Fort Jackson. He is the son of Marilyn Goveny of Gloucester and a 2007 graduate of Gloucester High School.
Airman Mary E. Wolfe has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. She is the daughter of Donald and Sara Ann Wolfe of Nashua and a 2004 graduate of Hollis-Brookline High School.
