SPRINGFIELD, Mass.—A Springfield arms collector has pleaded not guilty to charges related to a collection of weapons at his home that included an anti-tank rocket launcher.
Officers responding to a domestic disturbance Saturday arrested Gerald Plouff after they discovered machine guns, percussion caps, gunpowder, the rocket launcher and other weapons.
The 60-year-old Plouff is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, threatening to commit a crime and possession of firearms without a permit.
Plouff was ordered held without bail Monday pending a dangerousness hearing to be held Tuesday in Springfield District Court.
