BOSTON—Gas prices are back on the rise in Massachusetts after holding steady for three weeks.

A statewide survey Monday by AAA of Southern New England found an average price of $4.08 per gallon for self-serve, regular gasoline. That's up 2 cents from last week.

Gas had held steady for three consecutive weeks after 10 straight weeks of rising prices.

Massachusetts remains 2 cents below the national average of $4.10.
