BOSTON—Senator John Kerry is visiting the Merrimack Valley as part of his "Kerry in Your Corner" tour.

The Massachusetts Democrat starts Monday in Lowell's Hamilton Canal District at about 10:15 a.m. then moves on later in the morning to Lawrence, where he'll make a downtown business walk.

He'll be joined by locally elected officials in both cities.

Kerry is visiting communities throughout Massachusetts this summer as part of his re-election bid.

The informal visits are an opportunity for citizens to tell Kerry about their issues and concerns.
