Primary sees competition in an unlikely place

Most elected officials in Massachusetts will get a free ride in next month's primary. All but three of the 38 state representatives seeking reelection in counties in the south suburbs are unopposed, and only two incumbent state senators anywhere in Massachusetts have challengers.
