When Al LePage dons his top hat and puts on a two-hour, 26-character, solo performance of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," he channels more than the spirits of Christmases future and past. He also hauls that triumphal go-buy-Tiny-Tim-a-Christmas-goose spirit right into present. All of the proceeds of his East Coast tour go directly to nonprofit organizations. ...
