GROTON - Most weeks, ballet class is a joy for 4-year-old Hasi. On a recent Thursday, however, the little girl from Sri Lanka sprawled in her leotard on the floor near the door, clinging to Liz Smith's ankle, while her classmates rode imaginary horseys and did the Hokey Pokey.
