House plan includes aid, tax relief, job creation
WASHINGTON - Massachusetts would receive at least $6.5 billion in federal aid during the next two years - and residents would receive nearly $5 billion more in tax relief, unemployment checks, food stamps, and other benefits - under the economic stimulus bill passed this week by the US House, analysts said yesterday.
