Top judges question budget plan
Patrick's proposal may mean job cuts
The state's two top state judges assailed yesterday a proposal by Governor Deval Patrick to cut the trial courts budget by 4 percent. The judges said the reduction would result in 250 to 375 layoffs and cripple the judiciary. (Full article: 661 words)
