A fourth suspect in the 2008 killing of a Holbrook man was arrested yesterday in South Carolina when he failed to produce a license during a routine traffic stop in Richland County, said David Traub, spokesman for the Norfolk district attorney's office.

Kencheser Martin, 26, of Chelsea is being held on a murder warrant for the July 2008 killing of Osahon Ighodaro, a 25-year-old Quincy College student, according to the district attorney's office.

Traub said Martin gave police in South Carolina a false name upon his arrest, but Massachusetts State Police reached out to Richland County officials once they learned of his arrest.

Martin could be arraigned sometime this week if he does not contest his rendition to Massachusetts, Traub said.

The three other suspects in the case, Jeffrey Anthony, 21, of Chelsea; Joshua Berrios, 21, of Taunton; and Nekita Martin, 21, of Revere - Martin's sister - were arraigned last week in Quincy District Court. The three entered not guilty pleas to first-degree murder charges. They are to appear in court June 17 and are being held without bail.

Kencheser Martin, along with Anthony and Berrios, invaded Ighodaro's home on July 10, hog-tied him, stuffed a gag in his mouth, and beat him, authorities said. Ighodaro died of probable asphyxiation, Kate Welch, assistant district attorney, said during the arraignment of Anthony, Berrios, and Nekita Martin.

Nekita Martin is believed to have set up Ighodaro for the attack after she befriended him in a Randolph nightclub.
