Mystery fumes sicken 119 people
Construction debris could have been culprit
No color or vapor cloud told of its danger - only a strange odor, and by then it was too late. Noxious fumes sickened at least 55 people at a trash disposal station early yesterday; two suffered severe respiratory problems that left them in critical condition at a local hospital.
