A decade ago, Tamir Goodman was a national sensation, a basketball star so gifted Sports Illustrated dubbed him “the Jewish Jordan.’’ As a high school junior, when he averaged more than 35 points a game, the Baltimore native accepted a full scholarship to the University of Maryland.
