Recent bird sightings as reported to the Massachusetts Audubon Society: A Wilson’s plover was seen briefly Thursday at the west end of Nantucket, but it has not been reported since. Other reports from Nantucket last week included a little blue heron, a yellowcrowned night-heron, an American golden-plover, 169 roseate terns, a Forster’s tern, and three black terns.
