Adam Jasinski (jah-ZIN'-skee) has pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempting to sell 2,000 pills of oxycodone, the main active ingredient in OxyContin and other painkillers.
The Delray Beach, Fla., resident allegedly told a federal agent he'd been selling thousands of pills monthly in Florida, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The U.S. Attorney's office said Thursday Jasinki's parents also have agreed to be responsible for him as he receives the treatment as a condition of his release. Jasinksi's $200,000 bond was secured by his parents' home and his own three Florida properties.
A call to his attorney Thursday was not immediately returned.![]()
