BOSTON—Massachusetts Republican candidate for governor Charles Baker continues to raise money at a furious pace.

Baker pulled in more than $577,000 during the last two weeks of March, bringing his campaign total to more than $2 million, far outpacing all the other candidates.

Democratic Gov. Deval Patrick raised nearly $198,000 in last two weeks of March bringing his total to more that $892,000.

Independent candidate and state Treasure Timothy Cahill's fundraising has been more sluggish.

Cahill raised just $62,000 in the last two weeks of March bringing his total in cash to nearly $954,000. He also has more than $2 million in campaign savings accounts.

The remaining gubernatorial candidates -- Republican Christy Mihos, Democrat Grace Ross and Green-Rainbow candidate Jill Stein -- each has less than $25,000 in their accounts.
