Fed suggests state adopt new way to allocate local aid

When the current fiscal crisis ends and Massachusetts coffers brim again with new revenue, the state should revise how it doles out local aid, to channel more money to the neediest cities and towns, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston says. (Full article: 793 words)
