MARSHFIELD, Mass.—A man has died while scuba diving off the coast of Massachusetts.
The Plymouth District Attorney's office says 57-year-old Robert Hayes, of West Brookfield, was unconscious when he was brought back to shore in Marshfield by a private boat at about 9 a.m. on Sunday. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
State police are investigating the death, which Marshfield Harbormaster Michael DiMeo called a tragic accident.
