Come next winter, every property owner in the Bay State will have to follow the example of Felix Delvalle of Roslindale and make sure snow and ice are cleared from walkways, regardless of how it got there or how old it is.

In a historic decision, the state’s high court ruled yesterday that landowners must make sure their property is clear of any snow and ice that could cause injury to others, regardless of whether the snow came from Mother Nature or from a plow or other source. (Full article: 743 words)
