QUINCY, Mass.—A Massachusetts state trooper has been taken to a hospital after his cruiser struck two utility poles in Quincy.
State police spokesman David Procopio said no one else was injured in the accident that occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Billings and Atlantic Streets.
Procopio said the trooper, who was not identified, was taken to a Boston hospital for treatment and evaluation but he did not disclose the nature of the injuries.
State police are investigating.
