Needham woman is hailed by Obama for aid to Afghan widows
A Needham woman who lost her husband in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and cofounded an organization to improve the lives of Afghan widows received the 2010 Citizens Medal from President Obama at a White House ceremony yesterday. (Full article: 388 words)
