Tim Flaherty seeks recount in Senate race

Attorney Tim Flaherty of Cambridge has asked for a recount in the Democratic primary apparently won by state Senator Sal DiDomenico of Everett. Officials from Secretary of State William F. Galvin’s office said Flaherty has asked that votes be recounted in parts of Everett. DiDomenico beat Flaherty in a special election earlier this year, but the seat, formerly held by Anthony Galluccio, is up for grabs again in November. (State House News Service)
