Massachusetts Treasurer-elect Steve Grossman has received all the money he needs to fund his inauguration from eight local donors. A report filed yesterday with the state Office of Campaign and Political Finance showed Grossman’s campaign committee collected $20,500 last month to defray the costs of his Jan. 19 festivities. The expenses include invitations to Grossman’s swearing-in, as well as the costs of a catered reception afterward and related personnel expenses for both. The biggest donor was John McQuillan, chief executive of Triumvirate Environmental, who gave $7,500. The next largest donor was Richard Slifka, vice chairman of Waltham-based petroleum supplier Global Partners LP; he donated $5,000. Grossman, a former Democratic National Committee chairman and major fund-raiser, was trying to keep his fund-raising work to a minimum, said his spokesman.
