A Brookline man was convicted yesterday of fatally shooting a co-worker at their place of employment in Cambridge, prosecutors said. Authorities said Clyde Howard, 67, shot Maurice Ricketts, 33, of Malden, multiple times on Jan. 28, 2009, in a locked fence yard outside the Bay State Pool Supply Co. The men had an ongoing dispute of a “personal nature’’ at the time of the shooting, the office of Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr. said. Howard was convicted in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn on charges of first-degree murder and weapons violations, Leone’s office said. His sentencing is scheduled for Monday.
