A Stoneham man accused of seriously injuring his infant son by shaking him has been charged in the boy’s death eight years later. Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr. said Brian Saucier, 41, was indicted yesterday on one count of murder. He is to be arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn today. According to authorities, Stoneham police found Saucier in September 2002 holding his son, who was then 6 weeks old. The baby had stopped breathing and was later diagnosed with shaken baby syndrome. Police said the boy went through several months of treatment and then lived in a vegetative state in the care of his mother until he died in May. (AP)
