A man was pulled from the tracks at the Downtown Crossing MBTA station after he fell yesterday, delaying rush hour service on the Orange Line for about 10 minutes, officials said. Electricity was cut to the third rail just before from the southbound tracks, MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said. No trains were in the area, and the man did not come in contact with the electrified third rail, Pesaturo said. The man, who suffered a head injury and a few minor injuries, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment, an EMS spokeswoman said.
