A US Airways flight en route from Spain to Charlotte, N.C., landed at Logan International Airport at 11 a.m. yesterday after smoke filled the cabin and cockpit, an airline spokeswoman said. The smoke had dissipated by the time the plane landed, and the 192 passengers and nine crew members on US Airways flight 749 were evacuated soon after the Boeing 767 touched down in Boston, according to Liz Landau, a US Airways spokeswoman. The aircraft was taken out of service to be examined, Landau said in a telephone interview. None of the passengers complained of health problems, she said, but four flight attendants were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
