A Lowell man pleaded not guilty in US District Court in Boston Tuesday to child pornography charges, officials said. William H. Noble, 46, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of transportation of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography, the US Department of Justice said yesterday. According to prosecutors, Noble transported sexually explicit visual depictions of minors in April 2009 and possessed pornographic images of children, the department said. If convicted of both charges, Noble could face up to 30 years in prison, a lifetime of supervised release, and a fine of up to $500,000.
