State and Yarmouth police were searching for 20-year-old Michael A. Giampapa after the shooting of two brothers at a West Yarmouth motel last night, said Steven G. Xiarhos, Yarmouth’s deputy chief of police. The victims, Jeremy Albanese, 30, of Charlemont, and Michael Albanese, 35, of Truro, were transported to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis with life-threatening injuries, police said. The pair were shot at the American Host Motel. Giampapa has an extensive criminal record, according to police. He should be considered potentially armed and dangerous, Xiarhos said.
