A former Everett man who ran a pest extermination company for several years pleaded guilty in federal court yesterday to the unlawful use of pesticides and making false statements to federal agents, according to the office of US Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz. Josimar Ferreira appeared before US District Judge Joseph L. Tauro. Ferreira, a Brazilian living in the country illegally, operated a company called TVF Pest Control Inc. in Everett and claimed he could eliminate bed bugs from homes by using a special mixture, according to the statement. The mixture contained the insecticide Malathion, which is not approved for indoor use.
