Man accused of threatening his wife

A Brockton man was arrested Friday night for allegedly threatening his wife with a machete, according to Massachusetts State Police. Five state troopers and several Brockton police officers rushed to a Walnut Street home at about 10:30 p.m., after a distraught woman called 911 and reported that her husband was making threats and was armed with a knife, State Police said. A state trooper and two Brockton police officers subdued and arrested the man, whose name has not been released.
