A former Revere police officer pleaded guilty yesterday to lying to the FBI about his role in a public corruption case, court records show. Todd Randall pleaded guilty to one count of making a false statement to the FBI in federal court in Boston, according to court documents. Authorities said he was captured on audio and video as he collected a $200 cash bribe while on duty in January 2010. He collected the bribe from a confidential informant in exchange for assistance with a criminal case pending in Chelsea District Court, and later denied meeting with or knowing the informant when questioned by the FBI, records show.![]()
