A patient at a Cape Cod mental-health facility has been indicted for manslaughter, months after he had an altercation with a worker who later died. Nicholas Davenport of Eastham was a patient at the Cape Cod & Islands Community Mental Health Center in Bourne when staff member Jason Lew was allegedly forced to restrain him on March 24. During the altercation, the 60-year-old Lew was allegedly struck and fell. About two weeks later, Lew suffered what would be a fatal heart attack. Davenport, 20, is being held in Taunton.
