Workshop for small businesses

With the help of Community Development Block Grant money, the Downtown Waltham Partnership will host a two-hour workshop to help local business owners make the most of their stores and restaurants. “Best Practices in Retail Presentation and Promotion” will be held Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Jackson Room of the Francis Cabot Lowell Mill Apartments, 190 Moody St. During the event, Christine Moynihan of Retail Visioning will provide tips on interior layout and decor, window displays, marketing and promotions, and exterior appearance and signs.
